Amending Civil Rule 47(g) and Criminal Rule 24(f)

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF ALASKA.IT IS ORDERED:

1. Civil Rule 47(g) is amended to read as follows:

Rule 47. Jurors.

(g) Oath of Jurors. The jury shall be sworn by the clerk substantially as follows:

“You and each of you do Do each of you solemnly swear (or affirm) that you will well and truly try the issues in the matter now before the court solely on the evidence introduced and in accordance with the instructions of the court.?”

2. Criminal Rule 24(f) is amended to read as follows:

Rule 24. Jurors.

(f) Oath of Jurors. The jury shall be sworn by the clerk substantially as follows:

“You and each of you do Do each of you solemnly swear (or affirm) that you will well and truly try the issues in the matter now before the court solely on the evidence introduced and in accordance with the instructions of the court.?”
